He makes it sound initially like Jesus prayer pops out of a vacuum and does not refer, compare and contrast it to 1st century prayer approach of the Jews. As such his contention that this is the revolutionary world changing prayer is not convincing. I would have liked to hear how the prayer transformed his life. Mohler does not use personal examples very much. This book did not captivate my attention as others on the TLP have. Certain sections I would stop reading listen to something else. The use of the word 'Hallowed' and his thoughts on the 'Give us this Daily Bread' section I look forward to reading again.

I would like to review thos sections again with a kindle or hard copy. The Prayer That Turns the World Upside Down shows us how. We desperately need to relearn its power and practice.
